Stuffed Beef

Ingredient List:
800 g beef sirloin


Stuffing
Pat of butter
1 garlic clove
0.7 dl cream
150 g blue cheese
1 tablespoon tomato purée
1/2 tbsp honey
1/2 teaspoon freshly crushed black pepper
 
First prepare the blue cheese filling: Put a pat of butter into saucepan. Crush the garlic into the melted butter. When it is softened, add the cream and let it boil for 1 minute. Add the blue cheese in small pieces and let it melt slightly. Add the tomato and honey and stir until smooth. Complete the filling with freshly crushed black pepper. Let it cool slightly to make it easier to fill the steak using a spoon or pastry bag.
Next, cut the fillet into about 1.5 cm thick steaks. Cut a perfect pocket with Konu Pocket-knife, making the pocket as large as possible. If you want to pummel the meat a little thinner, put teaspoon of oil into your pocket and spread it with your fingers inside the pocket. The oil reduces friction and helps to prevent the meat from tearing. The steak should also be oiled on outside surface to prevent breakages. Use the meat mallet carefully! Fill out the steaks and fry or grill each side about 3 4 minutes.
